Alec Knight has lived and worked in Huncote for the last 27 years although he originates from Forres, a small town in the North of Scotland. As the local postman he has very close contact with the Parish. He has been married to Janet for 32 years and has six children. Along with being Chairman his area's of responsibility are Croft Quarry, Sita Landfill site and recreation and amenities.

John Battell has lived in the village for more than thirty years. He is now retired but still works as a consultant on a part time basis in the food industry.
His specific areas of responsibility on the Parish Council are for Policing matters and Planning.
He is married to Mavis who edits the Huncote village web site.
